About Greg Landry, M.S.
A Grateful Teacher with a Heart for Homeschool Families
Greg Landry is first and foremost grateful—to God, to his family, and to the thousands of homeschool families he’s had the privilege of teaching over the past 20+ years. “The Lord has made me very aware of my need for a grateful heart,” he shares. “I’m grateful for every sunrise, for the magnificence of His Creation, and even for the trials that produce perseverance and maturity.”

He’s a devoted husband of 30+ years, a homeschool dad, and a former college professor. Greg and his wife homeschooled their two daughters—both now college graduates who love Jesus, which he says is their greatest joy.
From the Ballfield to the Biology Lab
Greg grew up in South Louisiana surrounded by Cajun culture—three of his grandparents spoke French. At 18, he was invited to try out for the Philadelphia Phillies. He played both baseball and football in college before earning his Master of Science degree from Louisiana State University (LSU).
But it was in science—and in mentoring students—that Greg found his true calling. Over the past two decades, he’s taught university-level science, designed and directed anatomy and cadaver labs, written homeschool science lab manuals, and academically mentored thousands of students preparing for STEM careers.
A Vision for Christian Science Education
Greg’s passion is helping students recognize God’s hand in every aspect of creation. He teaches from a Christian, Creationist worldview, but his classes are anything but watered down.
“I believe we should think critically, deeply, creatively, and biblically,” he says. “God is glorified as we explore His creation—illuminating it, and revealing His glory.”
He founded College Prep Science to equip homeschooled students with strong foundations in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, data analysis, and written communication—skills they’ll need in high school, college, and life.
Originator of the "Pre" Science Classes
Greg also pioneered the “Pre” class series (Pre-Biology, Pre-Anatomy & Physiology, Pre-Chemistry, and Pre-Physics) to help middle school students transition confidently into high school science. Parents often praise his gift for clarity, saying he “pulls out the most important information and presents it in a way that’s interesting and easy to understand.”
Faith. Family. Formation.
Greg lives near Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and continues to teach with the same mission: to prepare students for success—and to point them toward the Creator of all they study.
“We want students who are competent, confident, and prepared, not just academically, but spiritually. When we illuminate His creation, we reveal His glory.”
